The motto emphasises the gift of wisdom as the greatest asset that a human being can be bestowed with, and signals the dedication of the University to provide conducive environment to nurture and cultivate the minds of individuals to increase in wisdom and apply same to the service of humanity.

Topfaith University is a Vision of splendour born out of passion for excellence in university education within the context of functional research, global trends, entrepreneurship and life skills. This Vision is part of the overall philosophy of Thomas Abraham Foundation, the Proprietor of the University. The Foundation is a symbol and perpetuation of the ideals of late Thomas Abraham who was a Deacon of Faith Tabernacle Congregation Church, Nigeria. The late Thomas Abraham, an indigene of Mkpatak, was a philanthropist, a lover and promoter of education in addition to his skillful, creative and innovative craftmanship in carpentry. Late Thomas Abraham’s love for and investment in education of his children have culminated in the emergence of distinguished and accomplished offprings who have come together to promote the Thomas Abraham Foundation to symbolise focus, determination, creativity, innovation, enterprise, philanthropy and, above all, quality education. Dr. Emmanuel Thomas Abraham, a seasoned Economist, Banker and Educationist, is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. Dr. Emmanuel Abraham has had decades of experience in entrepreneurship and educational management.
Prof Akaneren Idem Essien, FNSAP, is a Professor of Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition in the Department of Animal Science, University of Calabar. After his Secondary School Education, he gained admission into the University of Ibadan graduating with 2nd Class Honours Upper Division in Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition. He completed his PhD programme at the University of Ibadan in 1983 and took up an appointment as Lecturer 2 in the defunct University of Cross River State, Uyo in May 1984. His University Career and Administrative duties saw him through as Head of Department of Animal Science, Dean of Agriculture, Chairman Committee of Deans, Deputy Vice (Academic), Acting Vice-Chancellor, UNICAL, Vice-Chancellor, University of Uyo, and Visiting Scholar, National University Commission. He is a member of Academic and Professional bodies, and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Animal Production.
Professor Patrick James Ebewo studied at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He holds a Diploma, BA (Hons), MA, and PhD degrees in Theatre Studies. Prof. Ebewo has taught at the Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto; National University of Lesotho, Roma; University of Swaziland; University of Botswana, and was Head of the Department of Theatre and Film, Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa. Prof. Ebewo was also Dean of the School of Communication and Creative Industries, United States International University-Africa located in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a “Rated Researcher” of the National Research Foundation of South Africa (NRF) who has published many books, chapters in books, and numerous academic articles in peer-reviewed and accredited journals and won many Research Awards. He has supervised many postgraduate students, presented papers and Keynote addresses at international conferences, and is a member of many professional bodies including the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR). Ebewo is a Fellow of the Centre for Advanced Studies, University of Munich, Germany; Affiliated Faculty Member, LEAP’s Institute for the Arts, Colorado State University, USA, and Visiting Professor at many international universities.
His royal majesty is a Howard University graduate of accounting and a certified public accountant (CPA) of many decades. He has been a professional accountant, banker, and administrator of high repute for many years, practising both in Nigeria and the United States of America. He is an ardent tennis player and had won many laurels over the years. His royal majesty is the current paramount ruler of Onna local government area of Akwa Ibom state, he ascended the throne in 2018.
